Fundació Emys, an organisation dedicated to nature conservation and sustainable land management, actively promotes agroecology and food sovereignty among its partner farms. For them, I built OptiHorta, an application that calculates crop yield to maximise it and reduce costs.

The application collects the cost of the whole growing and harvesting process, together with the resulting production and waste material, to give a complete and accurate picture of each crop. Final production, profit and waste figures can be viewed by weight, by units, or based on a target production level, adapting to how each person works.

Results include charts showing how production evolves relative to set tolerance margins, making it easier to make decisions to improve each harvest.
